Creators can monetize their 3D designs on this platform, retaining a majority of the earnings. Prusa will charge a 20% printable fee to cover website maintenance and other expenses.

The company claims the Printables Store prioritizes quality, allowing creators to upload one paid model initially with a minimum price. The platform maintains a clear separation from its free database of 3D models.

The Printables Store is useful for infrequent publishers, while the subscription-based platform, Printables Clubs, serves those who regularly publish new models. Furthermore, different licensing options are available to creators, offering customers varying levels of usage rights.
