Robomart, a developer of autonomous mobile minimarts, has partnered with PIX Moving, a developer of self-driving chassis platforms, to launch autonomous mobile retail stores using PIX's technologies.
The companies aim to deploy autonomous mobile stores in California, offering unmanned services like ice cream parlors and quick-service restaurants. These autonomous stores will be equipped with features like checkout-free technology, temperature control, and enhanced security through external cameras.
Robomart has already signed contracts with customers, including Unilever (Ben & Jerry’s), Mars, Fatty Mart, and others, for over 100 Robomarts.
