Infinium and Mo Industrial Park partner to develop Norway's first advanced eFuels facility

Partnerships

  • Infinium, a developer of low-carbon electrofuels, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mo Industrial Park, an industrial zone in Northern Norway, to build the first eFuels production facility in Mo i Rana, Norway. The facility will utilize waste CO2 and renewable green hydrogen to manufacture eFuels.

  • Mo has contributed to the land and green hydrogen for feedstock for the facility. Initially, Infinium expects to produce 2,000 barrels per day of eFuels, such as eSAF, eDiesel, and eNaphtha, and expand its capacity in the future.

  • The partners aim to decarbonize the park and sectors, including aviation, maritime shipping, and transportation in Norway.
