US-based full-stack quantum computing company Quantinuum closed a USD 300 million equity funding round led by JPMorgan Chase at a pre-money valuation of USD 5 billion. Mitsui & Co, Amgen, and Honeywell also participated in the round. The investment brings the total funds raised by the company to USD 625 million.
The funds will be used to advance the development of the world's first universal fault-tolerant quantum computer and to further develop Quantinuum's software to improve commercial applicability.
