FloodFlash expands coverage to 10 new states in US

Geographic expansion

  • FloodFlash, a UK-based parametric flood insurance company, has extended its services to 10 additional states in the US, including Delaware, Iowa, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, Vermont, and Massachusetts.

  • In addition, the company stated that it has reduced the minimum premium to USD 25,000.

  • Analyst QuickTake: FloodFlash announced plans to enter the US market in November 2022, with Mark Hara serving as the CEO for its North American operations. It initially launched coverage for commercial properties in Florida, Virginia, Texas, Louisiana, and California.
