Notion has introduced Notion Calendar, a new app designed to integrate with its existing note-taking and database platform. Notion Calendar is a redesign of the previously acquired Cron app, adapted to fit Notion's ecosystem.
Notion Calendar allows users to create or link Notion documents within calendar invites and add databases with due dates as part of the calendar. Key features include Calendly-style booking tools, a command bar for setting up recurring meetings, and automatic blocking of double-booked time slots across multiple calendars.
The introduction of Notion Calendar is part of Notion's broader strategy to become a comprehensive business tool. The app is initially available for Mac, Windows, and iOS, with an Android version planned for later release. However, it lacks integration with Outlook, limiting its use for some Office-using businesses.
