HowGood, a sustainability intelligence platform for food, has announced an advanced carbon accounting solution to consolidate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting for food companies.
The solution includes “Full Emissions Reporting” available on its Latis platform, with expanded coverage of Scopes 1 and 2 corporate emissions at no additional cost for all platform users. The company measures customers' initial direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions with ingredient lists and standard Scope 1 and 2 inputs.
The carbon accounting profile also includes FLAG (Forest, Land, and Agriculture) reporting for land-based emissions based on the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The platform enables businesses to plan and track carbon reduction strategies with brand- and product-level goals.
Customer can directly export reports complying with the GHG Protocol with cited methodology and data sources for disclosures. In addition, HowGood provides an API and integrated supplier engagement features for customers to enhance their carbon reporting.
