Application/developer security firm Snyk has acquired Tel Aviv-based microservices visibility startup Helios. The financial details of the acquisition are yet to be disclosed.
Snyk will reportedly integrate Helios into its recently announced AppRisk application security platform, which focuses on application security posture management (ASPM) designed to allow developers to reduce risk and improve productivity and transparency.
Helios’ solutions helps developers troubleshoot and understand microservices within production environments, offering an end-to-end application discovery service and OpenTelemetry-based run-time data collection.
Analyst QuickTake: Snyk picked up another Israeli cybersecurity firm, ASPM platform Enso , in June 2023, making Helios its second acquisition in the application security space.
