Zscaler, the Nasdaq-listed cloud security company, is rumored to be in talks to acquire Israeli open-data platform Avalor for an undisclosed sum. Though not officially confirmed, reports put this value at USD 250 million to USD 350 million.
Avalor helps aggregate data from multiple different sources, including legacy systems, data lakes, data warehouses, SQL databases, and applications. Its platform helps analyze risk by allowing analysis of all an organization’s data rather than only security-specific data.
Analyst QuickTake: If negotiations are successful, Avalor will be Zscaler’s third such acquisition in Israel, following the purchase of Canonic in February 2022 and Trustdome in April 2021.
