Oatly partners with Carvel to add oat milk-based desserts in nationwide stores

Partnerships

  • Oatly, a Swedish producer of oat milk-based products, has partnered with Carvel, a renowned ice cream chain, to introduce oat milk-based desserts in 300 Carvel stores across 18 states.

  • The partnership will launch five new plant-based desserts, including strawberry soft serve, cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter, flying saucer sandwiches, and frozen dessert cakes.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Oatly had somewhat muted activity in the US for a while, but it returned to the space by partnering with Insomnia Cookies to offer its Original and Chocolate Oat milk at all 250+ Insomnia Cookies locations in the US. It also launched Oatly Unsweetened and Oatly Super Basic in the US, marking its first addition to its US lineup in the past five years.
