Einride partners with Mars to deploy 300 electric trucks in Europe by 2030

Partnerships

  • Einride, a Swedish tech developer for autonomous and electric trucks, has partnered with Mars, an American multinational manufacturer of confectionery and pet food, to deploy a digitally optimized fleet of 300 heavy duty electric trucks for Mars' European operations by 2030.

  • Einride recently completed the first truck delivery under the partnership, which included Einride’s freight capacity offering together with two electric trucks and charging points powered by Einride’s operating system Saga, deployed between a Mars petcare factory and its distribution center in Germany. The two companies plan to expand the partnership across Europe with plans to deploy routes in the UK and Netherlands in 2024. The companies plan to launch autonomous pilot operations to complement its electric operations in 2025.
