UK-based Token, an account-to-account (A2A) payment infrastructure provider, has joined the SEPA Payment Account Access Scheme (SPAA), led by the European Payments Council.
Through Token’s participation, it will enhance instant payment options, such as dynamic recurring payments and payment certainty mechanisms, to facilitate services like one-click checkout. It also aims to benefit EU payment users, intensify competition with traditional payment methods, create new revenue streams for banks, and establish Europe as a leader in digital payments.
