Kwikkart, a startup developing self-checkout solutions, has debuted a self-checkout device that can be attached to traditional shopping carts to enable self-checkout for grocery delivery drivers.
The device utilizes a scanner that can be integrated with delivery apps, enabling delivery drivers to scan the barcodes of the picked items. It utilizes AI and computer vision to ensure that only the correct items are included in the cart.
Additionally, Kwikkart also offers a payment platform that can be integrated with the retailer's POS systems, enabling automated real-time digital payments when a driver fulfills an order using Kwikkart.
The company plans to launch the device for private testing in 2024.
