Nile, a serverless Postgres solutions provider, has raised USD 11.6 million in seed funding led by Benchmark, with participation from SV Angel, Confluent founders, and others.
The company plans to use the funding to support product development and the launch of the public beta version of the platform. Nile plans to get the solution ready for production and begin the monetization process.
Nile offers a serverless relational database management system that enables SaaS developers to virtualize and isolate tenant data. Users can gain full control over user data, isolate performance between tenants and perform per-tenant backups and tenant placement on shared or dedicated computing resources across the globe. The platform also provides opt-in user management capabilities, customer-specific vector embeddings, and instant tenant admin dashboards.
