ClickUp, a provider of an all-in-one task manager and productivity suite, has purchased UK-based calendar app Hypercal for an undisclosed amount.
Established in 2022, Hypercal provides a calendar app for Mac users that is compatible with various apps such as Notion, OneNote, Apple Notes, Google Docs, Asana, Microsoft To-Do, and Slack. The application's free tier permits users to link to one calendar and task app, while a paid membership—costing USD 10 monthly—offers unlimited calendar and task integrations.
ClickUp plans to leverage Hypercal's technology to connect with its native calendar functionality and infuse new AI-powered features into its productivity suite to replace the need for multiple apps.
Hypercal's founder, Ricardo Clerigo, will join ClickUp as head of calendar.
