Wayland Additive, a manufacturer of electron beam 3D printing, raised GBP 4.2 million (~USD 5.31 million) in funding, participated by Parkwalk Advisors and Longwell Ventures. The company stated that the fundraising round will remain open, with the goal of raising a total of GBP 10 million (~USD 12.6 million).
The company plans to use the funds to facilitate the expansion of its customer base, as well as improve the company’s in-house capacity for producing its Calibur3 metal AM systems.
