Microsoft is set to make its popular Microsoft 365 apps available on Apple's new Vision Pro headset. Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Loop, and Microsoft Teams will be downloadable from the App Store starting February 2, the same day the Vision Pro headset will be available to consumers in the US.
Notable feature integrations include access to an AI-powered version of Copilot, which allows document drafting, summarization, and PowerPoint presentation generation via voice commands. Further, Microsoft Teams will support Apple “Personas” (digital avatars created from a face scan) on video calls, alongside other chat features.
Other standard features from Microsoft’s 365 suite of apps will be available as well, such as creating charts on Excel and analyzing data. Microsoft also stated that it planned to bring its spatial-based work platform, Microsoft Mesh, to the Apple Vision Pro later this year.
