Electra raises EUR 304 million to expand its charging network

Funding

  • Electra, a French EV-charging solutions provider, has raised EUR 304 million (~USD 330 million) in a Series B funding round co-led by PGGM and Bpifrance's Large Venture fund. Existing investors such as Eurazeo, Rive Private Investment, the SNCF group, and Serena also supplemented the round.

  • The company plans to invest the funds to expand its EV charging network. As of January 2024, Electra aims to roll out 15,000 charging points across 2,200 stations by the end of 2030.
