PEAR Health Labs, a digital fitness company, has partnered with Google Cloud to leverage its Vertex AI platform to enhance PEAR's AI-powered fitness app, Aaptiv.

PEAR Health Labs plans to use Google Cloud’s Vertex AI to improve Aaptiv’s offerings by developing more advanced health and wellness coaching solutions. The collaboration also aims to improve PEAR's fitness app by facilitating more personalized user interactions and allowing its digital assistant, Aaptiv Virtual Assistant (AVA), to offer tailored workout recommendations. Google Cloud's Cloud Text-to-Speech API will also be used to allow more seamless voice interactions.

PEAR Health is a digital fitness provider offering fitness and wellness coaching. The company offers three solutions solutions: 1) Aaptiv, a fitness app providing on-demand fitness workout plans and digital workouts, 2) Training Intelligence mobile app, which provides personalized workouts for employees at scale for enterprise clients, and 3) Fit Warrior Mom, which provides workouts to help mothers with postpartum to help pass military fitness tests. The company’s solutions all incorporate both AI and psychological sciences to help users achieve their fitness goals and adhere to workout plans.
