Multiverse Computing and Single Quantum join for USD 1.4 million DLR contract

  • Quantum software company Multiverse Computing and nanotechnology company Single Quantum have entered into a materials science R&D contract worth USD 1.4 million from the German Aerospace Center's DLR Quantum Computing Initiative to advance superconducting nanowire single photon detectors for quantum communications.

  • The duo will leverage Multiverse's expertise in quantum algorithms and Single Quantum's hardware capabilities to focus on quantum simulation to improve photon detection. The project will also entail the design of an algorithm specifically tailored for the aerospace center's quantum computers.
