Mogul, a platform that helps musicians track unclaimed royalties and manage income sources, raised USD 1.9 million in a seed funding round led by Wonder Ventures, with participation from United Talent Agency, Amplify.LA, and Creator Partners.
The company plans to use the funds to enhance Mogul's technology and processes that help artists recover unpaid royalties.
Mogul provides an efficient system for tracking an artist's income by connecting multiple sources of music distribution, facilitating the identification and recovery of missed income from various rights. It currently serves 250 artists, including Attack Attack!, Drama B, Color Theory, and Besomorph.
