Call2Recycle, a Canadian e-bike and household battery recycling company, has unveiled a new container under its consumer brand, "Recycle Your Batteries, Canada!" The containers are claimed to facilitate better collection and recycling of batteries by minimizing risk and enhancing operational efficiency.

The enhanced safety measures include remote temperature monitoring capabilities and fill level sensors to notify when the container requires a pick-up. Using these containers is also expected to raise public education and awareness about battery recycling. The company plans to have the containers accessible to the public by placing them in locations across Canada beginning February 2024.
