Episode Six plans to join Mastercard Engage Programme to expand flexible payments in Europe

Partnerships

  • Episode Six, a payment processing and digital ledger infrastructure platform, has been selected to join the Mastercard Engage Programme, a program that allows collaborators to accelerate time to market on product innovation to offer installment payment solutions across Europe.

  • Through this collaborative initiative, Episode Six plans on leveraging Mastercard’s payment network with banks and traditional payment facilitators to grow the reach of its Trillium platform which facilitates BNPL, installment cards, and loans across Europe.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Mastercard announced expanding its Engage Programme in July 2022 to include open banking capabilities with lending, payments, and financial management services. Several FinTech infrastructure disruptors were among the early providers onboarded to the program, including Dwolla , i2c , Synctera , and Nova Credit .
