Matterport, a 3D spatial data capture platform, has launched Property Intelligence, an AI-powered tool that allows users to automate measurements, layouts, and editing, with reporting capabilities generated from a Matterport digital twin of their property.

Property Intelligence uses spatial data, computer vision, and deep learning to enable users to enhance home listings, construction projects, and factory floor operation tasks with Matterport’s property marketing, design and construction, and facilities management solutions. Matterport has also upgraded its floor plans and released a CAD file add-on to support editable drawings.

Analyst QuickTake: The launch of Matterport’s Property Intelligence tool follows a series of partnerships the company has formed to meet customer needs in the design, construction, and digital twin industries, including partnerships with Procore Technologies (September 2023), Belden (November 2023), and Arcadus (nearly two weeks ago) to expand product reach in the design and construction industry, provide digital twin connectivity solutions, and offer digital twin platform for the public sector, respectively.
