Simple Planet, a South Korean startup specializing in cultivated meat, has secured KRW 8 billion (~USD 6 million) in pre-Series A funding co-led by POSCO Technology Investment and DCP Private Equity, with participation from Hyundai Technology Investment, Prologue Ventures, Pathfinder H, and Samho Green Investment, among others.
The new funds will optimize its manufacturing processes for its powdered ingredient, secure necessary regulatory approvals, and facilitate global expansions.
