Eavor receives undisclosed investment from Kajima Corporation

Funding

  • Eavor, a Canadian geothermal energy startup, has reported a direct investment from Kajima Corporation, a Japanese construction company. This is the third time Eavor has received an investment from a Japanese corporation.

  • The capital will strengthen Eavor’s balance sheet and enable the growth and deployment of Eavor’s technology.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This investment follows Eavor raising USD 182 million in equity funding in October 2023 . The company intended to use the funds to advance the development and deployment of its geothermal technology. The fundraise initially began in June 2023 , when the company raised EUR 34 million (~USD 37 million) from the first close of its Series B equity round.
