Drone Delivery Canada (DDC), an Ontario-based developer of drones and logistics systems, has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with CSE Drone Aviation, a subsidiary of CSE Group, an air cargo handling company based in India.
The companies will work closely with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, the local regulator, to analyze market opportunities within India, including first and last-mile cargo delivery, mining, humanitarian aid, and infrastructure inspection services, among others.
In September 2020, the company signed a similar agreement with Astral Aerial Solutions Limited, Kenya, to develop remotely-piloted aerial systems delivery platforms in Kenya. Similarly, the companies will work together with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (national regulator) to analyze areas that can utilize DDC’s drone delivery solutions in Kenya.
DDC caters to government agencies as well as industrial and commercial customers globally. Its product portfolio includes several drone models (Condor, Sparrow, and Robin XL) with varying payload capacities and coverage capabilities.
