Stakeholder Foods, an Israeli Food Tech company specializing in 3D-bioprinted and cell-cultivated foods, has received a USD 22,000 first-phase payment from the Singapore-Israel Industrial R&D Foundation (SIIRD) out of a maximum of USD 1 million allocated for the company.
This grant follows the development of SHFish-White Fish, a 3D-printed hybrid grouper fish alternative. UMAMI Bioworks, a Singaporean cultivated seafood producer, supplied the grouper cells for this product, which was created using Steakholder Foods' Drop Location in Space printing technology.
