CarbonCapture secures USD 80 million in Series A funding to expand technological development

Funding

  • CarbonCapture, a DAC startup, has raised USD 80 million in a Series A funding round led by Prime Movers Lab, bringing its total funding to USD 115 million.

  • The funds will be used to further expand its technological development and install its modular DAC systems.

  • New investors Amazon's Climate Pledge Fund, Aramco Ventures, and Siemens Financial Services also supported the funding round, with participation from existing investors which include Idealab X, TIME Ventures, Neotribe Ventures, Alumni Ventures, and several other venture investors.
