Illuvium, an NFT gaming platform, raised USD 12 million in a Series A funding round led by a consortium of top-tier capital firms, including King River Capital, Arrington Capital, Spartan Capital, and Animoca Capital, bringing its total funding to USD 60 million.
The company intends to use the funds to launch Illuvium's first series of connected games, scheduled for release in Q2 2024. These games are designed to provide players with a unique gaming experience by enabling the use of shared NFTs across different games.
Illuvium aims to transform the gaming industry by creating an interconnected game universe, where the same NFT can be used across different game titles, enhancing player continuity and immersion. The company reportedly has over one million registered users and claims to have a unique revenue-sharing model that offers 100% of in-game revenue to investors who stake the platform's native token, $ILV.
