Cohere launches Command R+ for business applications

  • Toronto-based AI startup Cohere has released an advanced language model, Command R+ for business applications.

  • The model is the enhanced version of Command R and offers enhanced retrieval augmented generation (RAG) with citation, supports 10 business languages, and automates workflows. Additionally, the company claims that the model offers data privacy and security.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The company has been releasing models continuously amidst its plan to raise substantial capital, ranging from USD 500 million–1 billion. Last month, Cohere AI released Command R for enterprise usage and the previous month launched a new open-source model, Aya .
