Netradyne launches new features to promote safe driving practices

Product updates

  • NetraDyne, the developer of the Driver.i, a commercial driver safety solution, has launched enhancements to its “DriverStars” feature, a driver reward system for positive actions such as creating space for another vehicle or slowing down safely.

  • The newly introduced features include “Driver Streaks,” a feature that records consistent patterns of safe driving by divers with awards for obeying stop signs and obeying a set speed threshold (which will be captured by its Driver.i devices automatically). Driver•i devices will also identify other positive driver behaviors such as making room for another vehicle on the shoulder of a road or slowing down to create distance.

  • The company also introduced a “Driver Dispute” feature, which allows drivers to challenge any inaccurate claims.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Netradyne is committed to improving its Driver.i solution, as observed wih the launch of the next-generation Driver.iHub in January 2022 and the introduction of the Driver.i One, a video telematics device for fleet tracking, in October 2023.
