Formlabs launches Form 4, a new 3D printer for high speed and large-scale production

Product updates

  • Formlabs, a provider of 3D printing technology, has released a new 3D printer named Form 4 to handle rapid and large-scale 3D printing projects.

  • The system is powered by a new print engine that leverages low force display (LFD) technology to cure the parts at higher speeds (up to 100 mm per hour). Moreover, the printer offers a build volume 30% larger than previous tools to enable users to print more small parts simultaneously.

  • Additionally, the company also launched the biocompatible version of Form 4, Form 4B, that leverages stereolithography (SLA) 3D printing technology. It claims that Form 4B can deliver the majority of parts in under two hours.
