GreenFire Energy, a geothermal company using closed-loop technology, has been awarded an agreement to support a geothermal initiative at Naval Air Facility El Centro in California as part of the US Department of Defense's pursuit of carbon-free energy.
The project will evaluate the potential to implement the company’s GreenLoop technology, which generates energy independent from the grid during power disruptions.
Analyst QuickTake: Similarly, in May 2023 , GreenFire partnered with Taiteck Co. and Taiwan Power Company to develop geothermal projects in Taiwan. During the same month, the company also partnered with PT Armada Energi Solusi, which agreed to be GreenFire’s local channel partner in Indonesia.
