Quantum Machines partners with Hamamatsu to enhance quantum computation and sensing capabilities

Partnerships

  • Quantum hardware and software company Quantum Machines (QM) has partnered with photonics technology company Hamamatsu to enhance quantum computation, communication, and sensing capabilities. The terms and financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed.

  • The partnership will integrate QM’s camera interface, Observe, with Hamamatsu's ORCA-Quest camera to enable faster readouts of cold atoms and trapped-ion qubits. The system also offers real-time image processing and seamless integration through the QUA language and is widely used among leading global quantum computing enthusiasts. Further, it supports camera link and CoaXpress interfaces in OPX+, and its compatibility with Hamamatsu’s camera will enhance the scalability of the research.
