ZeroAvia partners with FEAM for technical support on hydrogen aircraft engines

Partnerships

  • ZeroAvia, a hydrogen-based aviation solutions developer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FEAM Aero, a provider of aircraft line maintenance services in the US, on retrofit, maintenance, and technical support.

  • This aligns with ZeroAvia developing a network that can support operators to convert their fleets to zero-emission propulsion systems that will then require maintenance support.

  • As such, the two companies will explore how FEAM Aero’s 50+ locations can provide maintenance, repair, and operations services for companies using ZeroAvia’s technology. Furthermore, FEAM Aero will also explore establishing a green hydrogen production facility at one of its US locations with ZeroAvia for early retrofit, testing, and training.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In February 2024 , ZeroAvia partnered with the UK's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to ensure increased regulatory readiness, reduced risk of failure, and improved collaboration in adopting hydrogen propulsion technologies and fuel.
