Optibus partners with Snapper Services for improved public transit data analysis

Partnerships

  • Optibus, a mobility planning and management platform specializing in urban bus transport, has partnered with Snapper Services, a data analytics platform, to offer improved data analysis for public transit operators.

  • The partnership integrates Optibus’s planning and scheduling suite with Snapper’s transportation analytics platform, Mosaiq Insights. The integration will enable public transportation operators and agencies to enhance runtimes, visualize complex data, and monitor the impact of service changes.

  • Furthermore, the integration will enhance Optibus’s suite by comparing static data with historic automatic vehicle location data. Additionally, the companies claim the partnership will enable managers to see both datasets and identify the causes of service disruptions.
