SPEE3D, an Australian additive manufacturing (AM) solutions provider, has launched a new mobile AM solution called an expeditionary manufacturing unit (EMU) to help customers produce high-density metal parts rapidly and on-site.
The solution is built into two 20-foot shipping containers, which comprise the mobile metal 3D printer XSPEE3D and a post-processing and testing unit, SPEE3D cell.
The technology allows for critical equipment repairs and production across target industries such as defense and other heavy industries.
