Microsoft introduced “Team Copilot” at its annual Build developer conference. This is an addition to the Copilot family of AI-powered services and aims to improve corporate team productivity. Customers with a Copilot for Microsoft 365 license will be able to access the service, starting at USD 30 per user per month.
Team Copilot is designed to enhance collaboration and streamline management within a project. The software integrates with Microsoft Teams to handle meeting agendas, co-author meeting notes and summarize text chat discussions. Additionally, it syncs with Microsoft's Loop and Planner platforms to create and assign tasks, track deadlines, divide larger workloads into manageable steps, and ensure team members are informed when their contributions are required.
Microsoft claims that Team Copilot will handle time-consuming administrative tasks, enabling teams to focus on their core work and improve creativity.
