AWS has introduced a public preview of Amazon Bedrock Studio, a tool designed for developers to build GenAI applications. This is a faster and more integrated version allowing developers to build, experiment, and collaborate.
Bedrock Studio offers several key features: A guided process to help improve model results, various model settings, and access to several foundational models, tools, APIs, and mechanisms called "guardrails." It also allows project creation within individual workspaces and application deployment in the AWS account. Moreover, features like Knowledge Bases, which utilize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), help maintain factual accuracy by providing source citations.
Amazon claims that Bedrock Studio is a unified platform that lowers the entry barrier by allowing users to experiment with all features in a single environment.
Analyst QuickTake: AWS continues to offer tools and solutions for GenAI development through Amazon Bedrock. In April 2024 , this was evident through its collaboration with Anthropic, where Anthropic models were integrated into Amazon Bedrock, enabling users to test, build, and deploy GenAI applications.
