Germany-based logistics emissions management platform shipzero has raised EUR 8 million (USD 8.7 million) in a Series A funding round led by ETF Partners. Rethink Ventures, zu na mi, and Raspberry Ventures also participated in the round.
The funds raised will be used for international expansion and the development of new emissions management features, including a Book & Claim solution that enables active emissions reduction alongside emissions accounting for all modes of transportation.
Founded in 2018, shipzero helps shippers, logistics service providers, and carriers to manage and reduce transport emissions and support progress toward decarbonizing supply chains. The company's core product enables the calculation and monitoring of logistics emissions across all modes of transport. Leading companies such as Hellmann, BSH Home Appliances, and the Nagel Group rely on shipzero for emissions data and logistics compliance.
