Finland-based quantum hardware company IQM Quantum Computers has expanded its geographical footprint into Poland via a new office in Warsaw. It also partnered with the Gdańsk University of Technology to jointly work on quantum research projects.
Poland is the company’s seventh global office—alongside the US, Asia-Pacific region, and four other European countries—which will focus on the Eastern-European market.
The partnership between IQM and Gdańsk University aims to create advanced quantum applications, particularly in personalized medicine. It also aims to strengthen education in quantum physics and foster innovation in this field. The added presence in Poland will also boost IQM's global market position and quantum community.
