Harness, a cloud-based end-to-end software delivery platform, has acquired Split Software, a company specializing in feature management and experimentation, for an undisclosed sum.
Split Software offers a platform for effective feature deployment and experimentation. It allows software teams to experiment with new features, gather data, and improve performance. Teams using Split can safely roll out new features to users, conduct A/B tests, and rapidly respond to outcomes.
Harness plans to integrate Split's feature management and experimentation capabilities into its software delivery platform to offer a comprehensively integrated solution that allows software teams to build, deploy, test, and refine software features efficiently and effectively.
Analyst QuickTake: This is Harness' second acquisition in 2024 and its seventh overall. In January 2024 , the company acquired Armory, a continuous delivery platform company, for USD 7 million. This acquisition announcement comes just weeks after Harness secured a USD 150 million debt financing round, backed by Silicon Valley Bank and Hercules Capital.
