Atom Computing raises USD 10 million in strategic funding; chooses Denmark for European HQ

Geographic expansion
Funding

  • California-based quantum hardware startup Atom Computing has secured DKK 70 million (USD 10 million) in strategic funding from Danish state-owned financial institution Export and Investment Fund (EIFO). Following the investment, Atom Computing has chosen Denmark for its new European headquarters.

  • The investment will accelerate the company’s quantum progress and establish its European presence in Denmark by injecting quantum expertise and creating job opportunities in the country's current quantum ecosystem. The firm's newly chosen location aligns with the Danish Government's national strategy to become a center for international quantum technology.
