KiteKraft, a German startup that develops airborne wind power systems, has received operational authorization from the German Federal Aviation Office as an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) under the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) regulatory framework.
This includes the authorization to fly at night, fully automatically, and without on-site personnel, supporting the company’s commercialization efforts.
