Hoop, an AI-based task management tool, raised USD 5 million in a seed funding round led by Index Ventures, with assistance from Origin Ventures, Divergent Capital, and Chingona Ventures, among others.
The funds will be allocated to enhance Hoop’s AI capabilities, develop its integrations with other platforms, and build collaborative features. Hoop aims to expand its offerings to include a version for teams soon.
Hoop was designed to simplify the modern workday by automatically generating a to-do list by pulling tasks from various platforms like Google Meet, Slack, Zoom, and email. It was founded by former executives from Trello, a project management tool. Hoop helps professionals maintain focus during their workday by tracking their critical tasks and avoiding distractions.
