US food tech firm The EVERY Co. (formerly Clara Foods) has partnered with Canadian nutritional and wellness product company Landish Foods to introduce "FERMY," a range of ready-to-mix protein powders featuring fermentation-derived egg-white protein.
The new FERMY products, including Protein Coffee Enhancer and Protein Matcha Latte, contain 8 g of digestible egg protein, MCT oil, and lion’s mane mushroom. According to EVERY Co, its protein products can enhance the nutritional value of various food and beverage applications.
Analyst QuickTake: This collaboration follows the company’s recent partnership with Unilever brand The Vegetarian Butcher. While the company has formed several partnerships with alternative meat producers, this is the first with a nutritional and wellness product company, highlighting the broad range of applications of its precision-fermented protein products.
