Billie Green expands portfolio with plant-based mortadella

Product updates

  • Billie Green, a German corporate startup under The Plantly Butchers, has introduced plant-based mortadellas in classic, garden herb, and cherry pepper varieties. This product range expansion adds to its existing vegan salami offerings.

  • The new plant-based mortadellas, made with rapeseed oil, claim to be rich in unsaturated fatty acids and fiber, contain a short list of ingredients, and free from preservatives and artificial colorings.

  • The Plantly Butchers, founded in 2020, is a division of InFamily Foods, a leading German meat processor. It develops and markets a variety of plant-based meat alternatives for salami, ham cubes, and bacon under its Billie Green brand. These products are available at major retailers like Aldi, Edeka, and Rewe and through the company's online ordering platform.
