SuperCircle partners with Parachute to recycle bedding textile

Partnerships

  • SuperCircle, a textile recycling reverse logistics startup, has partnered with bedding brand Parachute, to launch an in-store textile recycling program.

  • The partnership will enable customers to donate any brand's used sheets, towels, pillows, and robes at Parachute's nationwide stores. Recovered textiles will be recycled by SuperCircle into new textiles or alternative uses, such as furniture batting, insulation, and padding. Customers participating in the program will receive a discount on their next Parachute purchase.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In November 2023 , the company announced that it planned to expand its recycling volume to reach one million garments by May 2024. In February 2024 , the company partnered with J. Crew to recycle old swimwear items for use as inputs in new garments.
