Ekoenergetyka, a Polish manufacturer of electric vehicle charging stations, has received PLN 741 million (USD 183 million) in grant funding from Bank Pekao. The company will receive an initial PLN 691 million (USD 170 million), with an additional PLN 50 million (USD 12 million) to be made available if certain conditions are met.
The funds will be used for international expansion across Europe and ambitious investment plans, including increasing production capacity, further automating production lines with industrial robots, and meeting the growing demand for EV chargers in the European market.
Founded in 2009, Ekoenergetyka provides solutions for EV charging infrastructure, including charging stations and related services. In June 2024, the company launched a new production line to increase efficiency and product quality, increasing output by 50 chargers per shift. The company is established in the electric bus charging market and plans to increase its market share in the electric car and truck charging market. Ekoenergetyka has already completed the first deliveries of these products for customers such as Ionity and Orlen Germany and has received further orders for operators in Europe.
